Easy Access
  In the Advanced Legal Manager program, every screen is "point and click." On the home screen, you can quickly access reports, view personnel and client information, track orders, generate accounting summaries, and create new assignments. The tree view feature and search tools provide swift navigation through your data.

Manage Scheduling
You can view and schedule reporter availability/unavailability with a simple drag and drop, and assign, confirm, and reschedule all from the same scheduling screen. The sort function allows you to sort reporters by different categories. You can also view or edit assignment details in the same window.
Calendar and Tracking
  You can e-mail clients and personnel confirmations and job information with just a click. The calendar screen provides a case caption text field that can accommodate even the largest entry. The tracking screen sets steps necessary to move tasks through the office, and it allows the manager to monitor work habits with Date In and Date Out fields with date and time stamps.
Accounting and Invoicing
The fully functional tracking screen allows you to easily see what orders are ready to be invoiced. You can view and assign rates to order items that can be set per case, assignment, firm, or attorney, and edit them "on the fly."

 
 

Advanced Legal Manager is built on the Microsoft® SQL server platform. All hardware and software requirements are based upon recommendations from Microsoft® for various versions of SQL server 2000 in addition to requirements for Advanced Legal Manager software.

  • Single-User version (1 workstation & 1 user ID)
  • Small Workgroup version (up to 5 workstations assigned to the same workgroup & connected by a network card and cables)
  • Enterprise version (6 or more workstations)

Memory (RAM) 128 MB (256 MB recommended)
Hard disk space 150 MB of available hard disk space for initial installation
50–100 MB of available hard disk space per year of operation

The Single-User and Small Workgroup versions of Advanced Legal Manager include Microsoft® Desktop SQL 2000.

Enterprise Version Server Computer Requirements
The Enterprise version of Advanced Legal Manager requires the additional purchase and installation of a Microsoft® SQL server, which should be installed on another computer (i.e., not on a workstation). The hardware and software requirements for that computer are shown below.

Note: Microsoft® Windows NT Server 4.0 Service Pack 5 (SP5) or later must be installed for all SQL Server 2000 editions.

Microsoft® SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition is recommended for use with Advanced Legal Manager. It is not included in the purchase price of Advanced Legal Manager; however, it can be purchased through Advanced Legal Technologies, LLC.
